Let’s talk about weight loss coaching, and the truth about what it means to choose “weight loss” as your niche when you’re a health & wellness coach. 

The reason why I decided to tackle this subject is because many of my clients and students have a lot of inner conflict around focusing on weight loss, and helping people lose weight. 

And in fact, there can be a lot of resistance.

So why do people struggle with this, and resist focusing on weight loss in their practice?

Well, this is exactly what we’re going to talk about in this week’s podcast episode. I talk to you about the reasons why you might actually want to focus on weight loss in your coaching business, why it might actually be a smart niche for you to choose, and then we talk about the various reasons why people hesitate about doing this, and how to handle the doubts and reluctance around this, to help you decide for yourself if this is right for you, and how to move forward.

In this episode, I talk about the reasons why you might actually want to focus on weight loss in your coaching business, and then I talk about the various reasons why coaches hesitate to do this. 

Here are some of the concerns I hear from new coaches all the time:

  • You don’t want to be superficial
  • You know that true wellness is about so much more than simply losing weight
  • You believe in body positivity and you don’t want to come across as judgmental
